Η δισκογραφία των Big Sleep επανακυκλοφορεί στις ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες!

Όλα τα άλμπουμ των Big Sleep του Stefan Schwerdtfeger είναι διαθέσιμα Online στις γνωστές πλατφόρμες.

Κάθε Παρασκευή του Φεβρουαρίου και του Μαρτίου του 2024, όλα τα άλμπουμ της αγαπημένης μπάντας που είχαν εξαντληθεί εδώ και καιρό, κυκλοφορούν Online στο Bandcamp.

Ο δημιουργός των Big Sleep, τραγουδιστής και τραγουδοποιός Stefan Schwerdtfeger αφού πέρασε τα παιδικά του χρόνια στις ΗΠΑ, μετακόμισε στην γενέτειρα του τη Γερμανία όπου ξεκίνησε να δίνει σάρκα και οστά στο όνειρο του, δημιουργώντας τη δική του μπάντα.

Με την κυκλοφορία του πρώτου τους άλμπουμ Everything Falls Into Place γνωρίζουν μεγάλη επιτυχία στη χώρα μας και το τραγούδι που ξεχωρίζει “Looking For A Girl With A Washing-Machine” παίζεται σε όλα τα κλαμπ και τους ραδιοφωνικούς σταθμούς.

Ακολουθεί ο δεύτερος δίσκος τους Moonlit Days (1994) ο οποίος ηχογραφήθηκε στη Νοτιοδυτική Γαλλία και άνοιξε τους ορίζοντες για περιοδείες σε Ιρλανδία, Ολλανδία, Ιταλία και Γαλλία.

Συνεργάστηκε και σε Live παραστάσεις και σε ηχογραφήσεις με πολύ μεγάλους δημιουργούς όπως οι Nikki Sudden των Jacobites, Terry Lee Hale, Phil Shoenfelt και ο Mike Scott των Waterboys.

Big Sleep

Μετά από μία πρόσκληση για εμφανίσεις και στην Ελλάδα, ο Stefan παίρνει την απόφαση να μετακομίσουν στη Θεσσαλονίκη όπου απολαμβάνουν τεράστια δημοτικότητα.

Κυκλοφόρησαν δύο ακόμη άλμπουμ Thermaikos (1999) και With God And Her Sisters (2003), σε παραγωγή του Chris Eckman των Walkabouts.

Για έξι χρόνια ήταν επίσης μέλος του ελληνικού κορυφαίου συγκροτήματος MPLE (Blue).

Το 2008, ως “BIG SLEEP acoustic”, ο Stefan παρουσίασε το νέο του άλμπουμ White Room. Περιέχει 16 οικεία τραγούδια που ερμηνεύονται αποκλειστικά με ακουστική κιθάρα και φωνή.

Το 2022 κυκλοφόρησε διαδικτυακά το νέο σινγκλ Keep Your Head On, με τον Ernst Ströer στα ντραμς/κρουστά και τον Michael Grammatopoulos Murphy στην κιθάρα.
